Tsunami waves to get to RP starting 1 p.m.

Let's pray that this will NOT happen. I just can't help but be worried for the Filipino people especially my family and friends there. I talked to my brother who is in Cebu right now and he said that my mother and sister are in a public school; and my brother and his family are in the Catholic Church in our small city in Surigao del Sur. I also have a brother and a lot of relatives in Surigao del Norte and we still don't know what is up with them right now.

I truly hope and pray that this tsunami won't happen, just like it didn't happen in Hawaii. Please, dear Lord keep the Filipinos safe.

Prayer for Protection

O Lord, grant that this night we may sleep in peace.

And that in the morning our awakening may also be in peace.

May our daytime be cloaked in your peace.

Protect us and inspire us to think and act only out of love.

Keep far from us all evil;

may our paths be free from all obstacles from when we go out

until we return home.

Colorado and pressure washers

Living in Colorado with all the snow has made all our things so dirty from all the road grime we drive in . After the snow melts off our car, it all ends up in the drive way. All the salts from the roads then eat up the concrete and also eat up the paint on our cars. What my husband has been looking for is a few pressure washers to choose from so he can find just the right one to save us all that money in damages and repairs from all the salts used on the roads in the winter time.

We went shopping online and found nilfisk pressure washers to be a great option for us. They are reasonably priced and very reliable according to all the reviews. There are so many uses for a pressure washer and I think that my husband will find many other uses for it too. With all his mechanical things he does, I’m sure it could be used in many ways. I’m thinking nilfisk electric pressure washers are the best choice because we can plug it in to the outlet right outside the house.

With all the information I found, I think my husband will be pleased he doesn’t have to research where to get a World of Power pressure washer. With a new pressure washer, we can clean the cars, the outside of our home and wash all the salts from our drive way so it will last longer for years to come.

Am I ready for my US Citizenship Test?

Tomorrow is going to be my US Citizenship Test at the Immigration Office here in San Antonio. I really can't help but get anxious for tomorrow. I have studied the handbook for a couple of days only and I feel like I didn't study enough. Hubby has kept bugging me to get into it since I got the handbook which is a month ago but I am always waylaid doing other things. Goodness me, I know! He would always say, you can't fail because of the high application fee, hehehe.

It's not that I am that confident, it's just that when I leaf through the handbook it feels like more than a review for me since we had US History when I was in High School in the Philippines. This fact makes it really easier for me. But still, I really have to study since it has been more than 20 years since high school.

I also talked to some of my relatives who just had their US Citizenship and they find the test so easy. I hope and pray it will be like that for me, too. I can say that even if I feel that I didn't study enough, I am ready to take the test. If only I don't have this little jitters inside my tummy. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Hubby just handed me a box of Godiva Dark Chocolates (as one part of his Valentine gifts for me) as I handed him a box of Godiva Dark Chocolates, the same kind he has just given to me. How hilarious is that! We were like: "That's funny!" And we can't help but laughed on this matter.

Mm, mm, mm! I am munching on one right now and it tastes so good. I can say that this is the best chocolate that I have had ever. No wonder it is kinda expensive but the heavenly taste makes you forget the price, hehehe. We will be going to the Outlet Stores today for hubby said that he would buy me a wallet, the one that I have been wishing for in a long time. YAY! Looks like someone is having a great Valentines, you think? Well, I wish you all a great Valentines day. Enjoy this special day.

the Pink fan in me

I am always a fan of Pink. She is just phenomenal. That's why when I learned that she will guest Oprah Winfrey Show, I have been looking forward for it. I would have never missed it for the world. Hubby and I have been watching out for her tour schedule because when she has one here in San Antonio or near here, we will surely watch it. We think that it would really be fun to watch her live. She just exudes class and glamour; not to mention the magical voice and talent. I just can't wait to see her on tour. Unfortunately, she doesn't have one scheduled here in the US this year. I just wish she will have one next year here in San Antonio. Crossing my fingers here...

shoes and women

DSW - this shoe store is so sinful! I can't believe that in less than two weeks, I already bought 4 pairs of shoes from this place. Goodness gracious! Hubby was like: "You are really into shoes this time, right?" Can't you tell, hubbypie? (LOL)

I just can't resist them. I could spend hours and hours in this store - trying on and feeling every shoes with different styles and colors. They are just so beautiful and what woman could resist beautiful shoes, right? Tell me, am I wicked or what?

rooting for New Orlean's Saints

GO NEW ORLEAN'S SAINTS!

Yay! The New Orlean's Saints just had a touch down. The score is 13 to 10 in favor of the Saints. Hubby and I are really rooting for this team especially they are known to be the underdogs. Not only that the owner of this football team is also my husband's employer. Wow, I still can't believe that he owns a football team aside from a number of car dealerships and banks in some states here in the US. Tom Benson must really be filthy rich.

Rumor has it that if the New Orlean's Saints wins the Superbowl, all Tom Benson's employees will have bonuses. Do you really think it will happen? Hmmm, we will see... But for now, we are enjoying the football game and I know you all are, too. Have fun, guys!
