amazing rock structures in Arches Nationa Park

Here are some more snippets of amazing rock formations on our trip to the Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. As you know that we went there the other weekend for a day trip. First off is called the Park Avenue.

Isn’t it beautiful? It is a relatively easy one mile (one-way) trail located near the park entrance. There were some people who are rock climbing one wall of rocks when we were there.

Courthouse Towers is one of the rock structures that impressed me as I was browsing through the park’s brochure. I really find this natural sandstone edifice so impressive, domineering and cool. You can really notice it from afar and for sure you won’t miss this structure in the park.

You are looking at the Balanced Rock, one of the main features of Arches National Park. Isn’t it awesome? It is said that the big rock on top is the size of three school buses and is likely to fall at anytime. You should see it, guys before it falls!

beach wear for all of you!

Thank God it's summer time and time to go swimming. Every year I like to buy a new swimming suit for the summer swimming season. I really like to look for the latest styles of beach wear so I don’t look out of date when I go swimming. I found that it is easier to go on ine and look for swim wear because when I go to the store they are usually out of the latest styles already. If they do have what I’m looking for they have already been worn and tried on by who knows how many people.

As you probably have found out, beach wear is costing a lot these days, and I’m going to fight the high cost by looking online at a web site I found called savebuckets.co.uk for my swim wear shopping. They have great prices and great styles to offer. What a great web site. I can even order for my daughter and hubby there and save a lot of money. I hope my hubby likes the style of swimsuit I would choose for him.

Happy Father’s Day everyone! I was up early as usual today. I watched one of my favorite Filipino entertainment shows on the internet while I was sipping my early morning coffee. Aaahhh, what a life!

When my girl was up, I let her signed her card for her Daddy. She was so excited about it. Then I told her to give our Father’s Day cards to her Daddy and she was so glad to do the assigned task. Only that she wants the cards back that she gave to her daddy, ain’t that funny? She told her Dad, “Can you give them back, please?” Bud Dad did not give them back to her; he displays the cards in his desk instead.

I was so happy that we were able to attend the 9:00 AM Holy Mass this morning. What a way to celebrate Father’s Day, right? A Father’s Day Celebration with the Father Almighty! Well, it doesn’t necessarily that you have to be in the church but just putting Him always in our hearts is all what it takes to be the best father or person that you can be.

going out with girlfriends for the day

I am all set to go! Me and my girlfriends will go to Evergreen and watch the town’s Main Street Rodeo Celebration. There will be a parade and hopefully we can still catch it since it’s almost 10:00 AM. I hope Joy who will fetch me and Tess will be here soon. I am so glad that hubby agreed to take care of the bug today so I can have fun with girlfriends. Actually, he really doesn’t mind giving me time off goofing with my girlfriends. In fact, he is the one who always insists that I go out with friends sometimes.

I heard from Mr. Weatherman that it’s going to rain today and I am hoping that he is wrong, hehehe. Well, even if it rains we will still be going and I know we will have a lot of fun. I hope that Sharon can come with us but she said that she might follow us there. Okay guys, that’s it for this morning! I wish all of us will have a wonderful Happy Father’s Day weekend. pure bliss thought

I have been thinking of flip flops, beach bag and sunglasses in Myrtle Beach Resort these days. It’s kind of like the picture above.

Isn’t that a heavenly picture? It would really be awesome to relax, to wind down, to feel the sea breezes and to savor luxurious Myrtle Beach Resorts especially at this time where the stresses of life are just too much. What a great blissful way to recoup, right? How much more if we can have this Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort getaway on the 4^th of July weekend.

My oh my! Isn’t that pure bliss? Oh, how I wish! It’s impossible for us to have a beach getaway right now, that I just have to be contented staring at the pictures above and wishing that I am in it.

my gift for hubby...

I am so glad that the murse (that’s how hubby calls his man purse) arrived in our doorstep today. Yeppers, it made to Father’s Day! I was really hesitating to order it last week since it said there that the delivery takes up to two weeks. That means it won’t be here on Father’s Day, right? I went to order it anyway because based on my experience with this favorite online shop of mine, the delivery always takes only a week.

YAY, Father’s Day is right on for my hubby! When I checked the thing, it was really as good as in the picture of the site. In fact, I can say that it looks better than the picture. It 's made of genuine leather and it has lots of compartments which is perfect for all my hubby's things. I am sure my hubby will love his murse because I love it, too! It may be a little bit pricey but I got it on sale and on free shipping, too. Isn’t that neat? Anyway, here’s a pic of my hubby’s gift on Father’s Day from his girls:

lockers for you!

My husband came home the other day and told me about this very old locker that he has at work for his uniforms. He says that they should tear them all out and put a big sign out front that says very old lockers for sale. On most of them, the locks don't even work. He says that sometimes the guys play jokes on each other and stuff the lockers full of things like you would see with school lockers in high school.

“Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not” he says. What they need to do is get themselves a good gym locker for his work because they have to change clothes all the time. This style of lockers would be best appropriate for they will properly hold a change clothes and uniforms that are required for his work. What would be really cool is if they used wood lockers to show a little bit of pride in what they have.

dinner time!

Mmmm, I can smell my grilled Pampano Fish and Cucumber Salad. That’s our dinner for tonight. We will give the fish five more minutes on the grill. My tummy is growling right now. My bug is, too. She has been complaining that she is hungry and that she wants to eat now. We told her to wait for we will have dinner in a minute.

We went to the Asian Store as soon as hubby got off from work. We stock up on rice (of course!), and a lot of sea foods. It’s really cool that we now have an Asian Store near our home. It is just about 10 minute-drive. How cool is that? Okay guys, dinner time! What’s dinner at your end by the way?

There are so many places to purchase tickets online. We were wondering where the best place for us to purchase tickets for venues such as concerts, games, and events are. One of the things that we have not done lately is to go to a concert or a game event. Hubby and I talk about it often and are planning to get a night out, or a day out at a game. I've always wanted to see a football or a baseball game in real. Looking online, I have found one of the best ticket broker companies. They guarantee the lowest prices on concerts and events.

We were really interested in tickets from a couple places. One of them is the Post Gazette Pavilion. There are so many cool concerts coming up. Groups like Def Leppard, Creed and Aerosmith are some of the real cool ones that I know both me and hubby like. I really can't wait to tell hubby about the good prices so we can purchase Post Gazette Pavilion Tickets and see one of these events. I wouldn't mind looking into Nissan Pavilion Tickets and/or PNC Bank Center Tickets also. It would be the perfect excuse for us to get away.

With all of good ticket prices that we found in the internet for these places, we can start planning our little getaways and see some of these concerts and shows. It would be good to escape from all the stresses of life and just sit back and enjoy what the music industry has to offer. I'm also looking forward to a football or baseball game. We will just have to start saving so we can visit all the places.
