my folks' kitchen renovation

We just got back from our weekend trip visiting my parents-in-law in Parachute, Colorado. It is about four hours drive from Denver. When we got there, the folks immediately showed to us the newly renovated kitchen. They installed wooden-like laminate floors, beautiful backsplash, white-marble counter tops and some stainless steel kitchen appliances. The kitchen really looks so great even if they said it’s not done yet. My step mother-in-law’s watching HGTV paid off, I told her.

She said that they will tackle next the curb appeal. She added that she saw this very outstanding mailboxes featured on her favorite HGTV show. She said that she has to have that one particular mailbox in her front yard. She showed me pictures of mail boxes that she likes especially that one that stands out to her, and I agree that it is a beautiful piece. I told Dad that it looks like he’s going to be busier for the next couple of weeks, and he just laughed it off.

Do you know how the kitchen renovation started? It started with a cobalt blue tea cup that my step mother-in-law found in a magazine. She bought it in the internet last winter and off they go with the renovation process. Here comes the mail box that she saw on TV and you can tell what this means, right?
