Gooney Bird Rock

Gooney Bird Rock, that’s how hubby called this rock formation. We are not really sure what’s the right name of this, but it is really shaped like a gooney bird, right? At first when hubby showed it to me, I was like: “Whatever!” However as we got near it, I was amazed that it really looked like a bird. Hubby was like, “Did you think I am only pulling your leg?”

You can find Gooney Bird Rock at Canyonlands Park in Moab, Utah. That place is truly amazing. You can see lots of amazing rock and sandstone formed into different shapes. Some are pretty cool and some are bizarre looking, too. Hubby knows this place so well for he has been here many times before with his friends for some camping and jeeping fun.

Though it was kind of a bumpy ride and very hot all in all, it was so much fun to experience Canyonlands Park. Kate and I can’t be happier to be in that place and experienced one of God’s wonders.
